Global Tagging System for ITGS
The following tags can be used to tag all sources of information on websites related to the new ITGS Guide. It is advised that the tag ITGS be used along with one or more of the most closely related tags from the three strands. Some tagging may require tags for additional topics. Subtopics are indicated in red.
We tag in Diigo because of the ease in tagging and the functionality of the Diigo tools. Directions for tagging in Diigo using the browser toolbar are provided below.
Accessing all of the tagged items for a page
is setup so that the
most recent tags from Diigo
show at the bottom of the page. The best resources are at the top of the page and also "Only the Best" videos are displayed in the middle of the page.
But how can you see all of the items that have been tagged for a particular topic?
1. Go to the
Global Tagging System
page on ITGSopedia and copy the tag that you need from the Guide.
2. Go to
and search groups for ITGSopedia
3. In the search window paste in the tag that you are looking for and all of the entries for that tag will appear.
ITGSpedia on Diigo is publically viewable.
How can you add a resource?
Enter a resource on ITGSopedia (see left menu item)

How to tag 'quickly' using the Diigo toolbar in your browser?
Most of us avoid cluttering the toolbar in a browser with various applications. However,
the Diigo toolbar is simply invaluable.
It is convenient (you never leave your webpage) and effective (bookmarks are saved in your library and in the ITGSopedia group at the same time).
1. Please install the
